New look for EEL Website

EEL, the website for NHS Libraries in the East of England has been redesigned. It keeps its old web address though (http://www.eel.nhs.uk) so no need to update bookmarks.

The new sites now has four sections:

  • Athens and E-resources
    • get an NHS Athens password
    • reset your password
    • quick links to E-journals, E-books and Zetoc.
  • Find the evidence
    • quick links to Healthcare databases, NHS Evidence, TRIP, Cochrane and others.
  • Your local library
    •  search for NHS libraries in the region,
    • access the regional catalogue (ELMS) and local catalogues, including the Warner Library,
    • quick links to the East of England E-journals (plus QR Codes)
    •  current awareness.
  • Training
    • comprehensive information on training available across the region,
    •  Training guides – 10 “Search the Evidence” guides free for you to download
    • E-Learning tutorials on searching healthcare databases
    • other useful websites.

EEL is the best place to start when searching for health information,  so take a look, and please let us know what you think!
