New Look TRIP Database

If you have attended a Finding the Evidence course in the Warner Library you will already know what a useful resource TRIP is for finding good quality evidence.

TRIP has recently had a make-over and introduced some new features along with its new look.

These new features include:

  • Breakdown of results into: Evidence, Images, Videos, Education, Patient Information & News
  • Improved advanced search (now includes proximity searching)
  • PICO search feature (search by Patient, Intervention, Comparison & Outcome). Read an overview of how this works here.
  • Thumbnail images of results – hover over thumbnail to see full screen
  • Timeline to record your activity on TRIP – this can also be saved as PDF for CPD/CME

Take a look at this screencast for an overview of the new features:

Further screencasts on particular aspects of TRIP can be found here.
