Register for UpToDate® Anywhere during our Registration Event

We will be holding a registration event to help you with the registration process and to answer your questions regarding UpToDate and the FREE mobile app.

  •  Wednesday 21st September from 10:00  to 16:00
  • Display area in the hospital atrium
  • Please bring your smartphone/tablet

Now UpToDate clinical decision support is as close as your smartphone, tablet, or computer. UpToDate Anywhere gives you evidence-based guidance when and where you need it.

 Here is what you get with UpToDate Anywhere:

  • Free UpToDate Mobile App for your iOS®, Android™ or Windows 8 devise; chosen as one of “The Best Apps in Publishing” by EContent Magazine
  •  Easy access to UpToDate by logging in from any computer with an Internet connection
  •  Accrue free continuing education credit (CME/CE/CPD) when you research a clinical question using UpToDate onsite or remotelyincluding on your mobile devise

Registration is easy:

  1. Access UpToDate via the Trust’s intranet page
  2. Click on Log in/Register in the top navigation bar of the UpToDate log in page
  3. Create a unique user name and password on the UpToDate Anywhere registration page
  4. You are now registered and will receive a confirmation email about installing the UpToDate Mobile App

UpToDate Mobile App now available

Register for UpToDate® Anywhere to access the Mobile App

 UpToDate clinical decision support is now as close as your smartphone, tablet, or computer. The new remote and mobile access gives you evidence-based guidance when and where you need it.

UpToDate Anywhere is available for staff employed by Mid Essex Hospitals NHS Trust.

Here is what you get with UpToDate Anywhere:

  • Free UpToDate Mobile App
  • Remote access from any computer with internet connection
  • Free continuing education credits (CME/CE/CPD) when researching clinical questions

To gain remote and mobile access you will need to complete a 1 minute one-time registration process.

 How to register:

  1. Access UpToDate from the icon on the Trust Intranet home page 
  2. Click on Log in/Register in the top navigation bar of the UpToDate log in page
  3. Create a unique user name and password on the UpToDate Anywhere registration page – you can register with any email address
  4. You are now registered and will receive a confirmation email about installing the UpToDate Mobile App
  5. Please click here to download detailed instructions.

NOTE: To keep the account active, it is important to log into UpToDate at least once every 90 days via the trust intranet home page and log in with your username and password. You will be sent a reminder about this if you have not done so by 80 days and again at 90 days. If you fail to login you will need to register again to continue using the Mobile app.

  • Over 10.500 evidence-based topics with more than 9.600 graded treatment recommendations
  • 160 Medical Calculators
  • Graphic Search and export to PowerPoint function to enrich your presentations
  • A drug database and drug interaction tool

 Please be aware your Athens account will not enable access to the Mobile App – you need to register for a username and password as detailed. However, if you do not wish to use the App you can still login to http://www.uptodate.com with your Athens account. The link on the Intranet also enables you to access UpToDate from a Trust PC without the need to login at all.
